Kayla Cahill is an emerging Brisbane-based Stage Manager and Theatre Technician specialising in prop creation and sound design. Kayla is a future QUT Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate, graduating with a degree in Technical Productions. With her extensive managerial background, Kayla enjoys the challenge that being a manager offers and thrives to succeed in a collaborative project. Kayla explores the array of creative mediums through the projects she is involved in and aims to create, design and manager theatre and/or live event works that inspire, educate and entertain audience members. Through a process of in-depth research and analysis of the chosen topic that the project puts forward, Kayla aims to provide ideas and her knowledge of the technical elements to help captivate a diverse audience through traditional or new works. Through a collaboration with experienced designers and a knowledge of what our audience want to see, Kayla wishes to challenge the contemporary elements of design and create works that peep into the future of technology through different live mediums.
